This spring, Keds is launching Green Label, their first ever sustainable line of footwear.
Keds knows that being green is a way of life, a no brainer. So, did they sit back and let the rest of the world go green? Nope, they decided to do something about it!
The company challenged their factory and they delivered. They produced a fabulous line of shoes featuring 100% organic cotton, recycled rubber and non-toxic dyes. And this is what they look like:
I am trying to figure out which pair is my favorite and I can’t decide. Since spring is around the corner, I am leaning toward the green ones. Every girl needs a pair of green shoes right? This girl does! Just check out the girl below rockin’ a pair of Keds Green Label shoes.
Keds has also partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation and for every pair of Green Label shoes sold the ADF will plant a tree in our nation’s forests. For additional information please visit: http://www.arborday.org/.
Not only are they partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation, but they have offered up two pairs of shoes for two very lucky Model Stalker readers!

To be quite honest I never would have thought about shoes being “green” but these are truly some wonderful products. I love the green colored shoes.
I like that they have 20% recycled rubber and use organic cotton.

Ho yes! Keds have been around for ever, (and I am not a spring chicken!!) but green, I want to have those, I can paint on them such as ladies bugs, flowers, it inspires me, green is perfect for spring!!

I love what Keds Green Label shoes and the ADF are doing to plant trees in our nation’s forests. That is a wonderful joint effort! What I really love about Keds Green Label shoes is the fact that are a totally natural shoe and Keds did not compromise in style, quality and comfort in order to create these amazing shoes! Keds was successful in designing these shoes that maintained their high standard for comfort and durability and were able to use recycled rubber and non-toxic dyes and 100% organic cotton to get involved and GO GREEN, how cool is that!
