Have you ever wondered how Heidi Klum got her start in modeling? She is one of the highest paid, most photographed and most talked about model there is. She’s a supermodel, a reality TV show host, TV actress and fashion designer. What can this woman not do!
Background Information:
Heidi was born in Bergisch Gladbach on June 1, 1973. Her dad is Günther, an executive of a cosmetics company and her mom is Erma, a hairdresser.
How she got her start in modeling:
Heidi’s career began in 1991 when she won a contest called “Model 92″. Her good friend Karin talked her into it. She started off modeling in Paris and Milan and then went on to do work in the U.S. - Miami and New York.
She is also well known for covering many men’s and women’s magazines, as well as modeling for famous brands and fashion designers.
Heidi is also a spokesmodel for Victoria’s Secret.
Movies and Television:
Aside for modeling, Heidi is also known for her roles in The Devil Wears Prada, Zoolander and Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie.
Her television appearances include Spin City, Yes, Dear, Sex and the City, and How I Met Your Mother. She is also the host, judge, and executive producer of Project Runway, which she is best known for today.
She was also nominated for 5 Primetime Emmys.
Personal Life:
She married stylist Ric Pipino in 1997 and divorced in 2002. In early 2004, she started dating Seal while she was pregnant with Formula-1 mogul Flavio Briatore’s child. Heidi gave birth to Helene (Leni) Boshoven Klum on May 4, 2004 and married Seal on May 10, 2005 on a beach in Mexico.
The couple have two children together - Henry Günther Ademola Dashtu Samuel, born September 12, 2005 and Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel born November 22, 2006 - and of course Leni.
The couple is expecting their fourth child!

Alessandra Ambrosio Parties at Club Delux

Brazlilian beauty Alessandra Ambrosio partied it up at Club Delux in Hollywood. She was accompanied by boyfriend Jamie Mazur. Alessandra wore a cute gray mini-dress, black heels and a black leather jacket.
Alessandra has been busy promoting Victoria’s Secret BioFit 7-Way Bra, which is one amazing undergarment! What’s so great about it? You can wear it seven different ways including strapless, halter, classic, one strap, v-front, crisscross, or crossback.

Adriana Lima Debuts “Noir”

Adriana Lima helped celebrate the launch of a new line of Victoria’s Secret body care and fragrance. Adriana dressed as Cleopatra while debuting “Noir”.
The launch took place at the Victoria’s Secret store on the Upper East Side in New York on Saturday (May 9). Adriana also brought a little friend along for the event. A black kitty posed for pictures with the supermodel and in some of the pictures, the kitty cat looks less than thrilled to be there.

Doutzen Kroes Hams it Up at Malibu Photoshoot

Victoria’s Secret supermodel Doutzen Kroes was in Malibu, FL on April 8th shooting a new ad campaign. She was running around the beach laughing, smiling and taking some of her own paparazzi style photos.
Kroes joined fellow VC supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio who was also in Malibu shooting photos for the new catalog.
She had no problem smiling and laughing for the photographers and I love the picture above of her snapping a picture and waving. Kroes made several trips back to her trailer to change into different outfits for the shoot. You can tell from these photos that she loves what she does and was having a blast.

Adriana Lima’s Gorgeous New Victoria’s Secret Photoshoot

Victoria’s Secret Supermodel Adriana Lima looks absolutely stunning in her her new VC photoshoot. She shows off some of the latest new bras, underwear and swimwear and she looks great in everything she wears.
Lima recently eloped with NBA player Marko Jaric on Valentine’s Day and rumors that she may be expecting have been swirling. She even posted a MySpace message saying, “I cannot say I´m pregnant. YET.”
The couple is planning a big wedding this summer, June 2009, in Serbia. She mentioned it to the press saying, “We are so excited about our future together. And we are really looking forward to a big romantic wedding this summer with all of our friends and family.”

Miranda Kerr Launches Victoria’s Secret New Dream Angels Push Up Bra

Supermodel Miranda Kerr was at the Victoria’s Secret store in New York City today (April 7) helping launch the New Dream Angels Push Up Bra.
Tonight, from 5-7PM ET, customers can have the opportunity to meet Miranda and pose with her for a one-of-a-kind photo. Just head to the new flagship Lexington Store (58th St) in New York City.

Behati Prinsloo Launches “Pink Body”

Miranda Kerr wasn’t the only supermodel launching a new product at Victoria’s Secret today. Behati Prinsloo was at The Grove in Los Angeles launching Victoria’s Secret first organic, 100% vegan body care line Pink Body.
Behati Prinsloo is from South Africa and has been in the last two Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows. She’s only 19, so she has a long modeling career ahead of her.

Miranda Kerr Launches “Heavenly Bloom”

Yesterday (March 10) at The Grove in Los Angeles, model Miranda Kerr launched a new fragrance called “Heavenly Bloom”. The new fragrance is from Victoria’s Secret and can be purchased in their stores.
I love perfumes from Victoria’s Secret and have been using their Angels line since it came out. It’s my absolute favorite, but I am definitely going to be checking out this new one.

Isn’t this a great picture of Heidi Klum? She is so funny and definitely one of those supermodels who has a super personality. I love how she is able to show her silly side and she did just that at “The Perfect One Bra” event yesterday (March 3) in Los Angeles.
Heidi was at The Grove in L.A. promoting the new Victoria’s Secret bra line called “The Perfect One”. Part of the promotion was a chance for fans to get their picture taken with Heidi, as well as receive an autograph.
The handsome fan above was asked by Heidi to take off his shirt. I wish I knew the whole story behind her asking him that and I will do my best to find out! I can see why she asked him to do so.

Heidi Klum is “The Perfect One”

Have you seen the hot new Victoria’s Secret ad with Heidi Klum? I’ve seen it a couple of times and wow, Heidi just looks fabulous! The commercial is for the new bra called “The Perfect One”.
Heidi promoted the bra in trucker style this morning (March 3) as she drove a big bra truck, the bra mobile, into The Grove this morning. She showed off the new bra in a low cut, gorgeous black dress.
Not only is Heidi presenting the bra today, but she will sit and chat with fans and sit for a quick photo shoot. If you’re in the area, she’ll be at The Grove in Los Angeles from noon-2 PM today (March 3). There is a purchase involved with this whole thing, so be ready to buy something if you want to chat with Heidi or have your picture taken with her!
