Ok, ok, I know everyone is blogging about this right now. But I think it’s a pretty big deal considering how fast Agyness Deyn emerged as a supermodel, and now to just turn her back on it!? Well, I can’t blame her, the paparazzi’s love her a bit TOO much. Since her moving to the U.S. the internet has been flooded with pictures of her going to the store or having coffee with friends, and for the most part she takes it all with a smile.

Sources say she’s moving back to the UK to spend time with her new beau, Last Shadow Puppets member Miles Kane. The gossip mill has also been spreading that she’s going to pursue an acting career, where she hopes to land gigs in indie Brit films. I don’t see the big deal in this, maybe all the American hype got to her, or maybe she’s home sick. On hollyscoop.com they argue that  her moving back home is a horrible idea, and she’s going to get sick of her b.f. and want to come back to modelling. I love how people think that being in the limelight is the place to be, maybe once you’ve reached the top you just want to come back to earth. For Agyness, I assume she wants to get back to her roots.

For me, I think this is a great move for Agyness. She has that edgy look and personality which will easily land her some indie gigs. She will always be that model that I admired while she was the ‘IT” girl, who rocked her style with ease and enthusiasm. Even if she is no longer on billboards, runways, or fashion spreads she has definitely left an impression on the modelling world.

She has angles rather then curves, and her poses emulate modern art. It’s no wonder she was picked up by Supreme Management in 2007 whose mission is based on an ‘artistic vision of intelligent beauty’. This beauty is defined by androgyny, strength, vulnerability, youth, masculinity, individuality, and honesty.  It seems that the term ’androgynous’ is what the term ’subermodel’ was to the 90’s, and Iris locks it down.

When a model such as Raquel Zimmermann is voted the #1 supermodel in the world on models.com, it’s fair to say it’s a well deserved title. Like our beloved Gisele, she is a Brazilian beauty whose ‘regal’ poise amazes photographers, designers, and fashionistas alike.

 You may not have heard of her, but believe it or not this 26 year old has been modeling since the age of 14. How did she earn her title you ask? Well, it could be attributed to her first major gig as covergirl for Italian Vogue in 2000, or maybe her campaigns with Hermes, Marc Jacobs, and Gucci. Without a doubt it’s her confidence on the runway, her sophisticated and professional demeanor, and most of all her timeless look that has designers on their hands and knees.

Okay, this is getting out of hand. Being a supermodel seems like it would be a royal pain in the butt. Curves are the most beautiful part of a woman’s body, and now it’s being said that Karolina Kurkova is just too curvy. Well no duh, she’s a woman. Women naturally get hips for mothering purposes. Don’t go telling us we shouldn’t have them!

She recently did a runway show in Brazil, where they claimed they’d never invite her back because of her ‘back fat, love handles, and cellulite.’

WHAT?!?! Are you kidding me?! Look at this chick. Do you see fat?! Give me a break…

This YouTube video is really informative, in regards to a model’s portfolio and what you need to have goin’ on inside of one. No clue who this model is that’s being featured, but she’s gorgeous.

As we all are aware, supermodel Naomi Campbell is wonderful at throwing fits.  It seems the only news about her these days is news of her going off her rocker.  So it’s no surprise that I’m about to tell you of another Naomi incident, this time, involving the renowned rapper, Jay-Z.

Recently, there was a huge bash thrown in honor of the newly released champagne, Armand De Brignac.  There was a special area inside this champagne party, where dinner was being served, and A-list  celebrities were gathered around to drink, mingle, and eat good food.

Well, Naomi wanted into that area.  So she tried, tried again, tried one more time, and failed miserably.  Jay-Z said nooooo way, and wouldn’t let Naomi Campbell come in the super secret special dinner area, that he was apparently the head of.

Rumor has it, Naomi threw quite the fit when all of this went down.  First, she thought he was joking about refusing to let her in, so she laughed, and laughed, and laughed…until she realized that she was the only one laughing.  Jay-Z truly would not let her in.  So, she did what Naomi Campbell always does, and threw one heck of a public fit before storming off to go home and pout.

Poor girl.  She’s not the least bit popular in Hollywood these days.

German supermodel Heidi Klum and her husband of the last couple of years, musician Seal, are reportedly very much in love. Maybe even more so than a good chunk of celebrity couples. And the pictures I’m always seeing of the two of them most definitely back that statement up. Heidi says, “Seal and I feel very lucky that we found each other. He’s my best friend. He would never go in through a door first. He always opens the door for me and steps back so I walk through.”

We all knew that Seal was a gentleman, but it would seem the love he has for his wife is the most pure and special thing he has to offer in this world. Heidi recently tattooed Seal’s name down the front of her arm, so it’s plenty safe to say these two plan to be together “’til death do us part.” Ahhh, love is in the air…

Twenty-nine year old Czech supermodel Petra Nemcova has been announced as the new face for Otto, a German mail order company that’s based out of Hamburg. Below are some picture links to pictures of Petra promoting Otto in Germany this past Monday.

In other news, last week Petra donated over 150 computers, alongside other various computer equipment, to The Andrew H. Wilson Charter Elementary School in New Orleans.

Petra says, “While the Happy Hearts Fund has provided children and schools in disaster-stricken, underprivileged communities with computers around the globe, the Andrew H. Wilson Charter School is the first recipient in New Orleans, and in the U.S.”

She continues, “It’s evident that after disaster strikes, once the cameras disappear, so does much of the help. Each and every one of these students is a survivor of Hurricane Katrina, and we hope that by supporting them, not only will their lives and educational opportunities improve, but also those of future Wilson School students.”

Trillionaire supermodel Gisele Bundchen is pissssssed.  Recently, a fan of hers took it upon herself to decide her hair must be fake, just like Kate Moss’.  So, she did what any nutjob would do, and yanked at it!

Gisele claims, “The other day, a girl on my plane was pulling my hair. She was like, ‘I just want to check…”  Gisele then goes on to say, “This is all my hair, by the way. I did not have extensions.”

So for those of you who thought Gisele’s beautiful dirty-blonde colored hair was nothing but a good set of extensions, well, now you know.  Let the jealousy sink in.  And if you happen to be on one of her flights in the future, she’d appreciate it if you kept your hands to yourself!

I told you this would happen!  When supermodel Kate Moss’ hair extension fell out in Berlin last week while she was trying to duck under the persistent paparazzi, it was photographed to death, making news websites everywhere.  After all that, I had a feeling it would somehow end up on ebay, and so it did.

News reports claim, “Photographer John Farr told the newspaper he picked it up and has posted it on the Internet auction site on behalf of the German anti-drug charity Keine Macht den Drogen (No Power to Drugs).”  Farr was soon afterwards quoted as saying, “I hope Kate doesn’t mind. I did not have time to ask her because she was in quite a hurry.”  HAHAHAHA.  I hope she doesn’t mind that I’m gaining personal dollars to auction off the hairpiece that I was probably responsible for knocking off of her haid.  Wow.  Some people’s children.

Anyway, the bidding on this awkward item will run through July 3rd, but already, Kate’s hair extension has received about 20,000 views.  Click here to view the ebay auction where one lucky winner will be the recipient of a couple strands of fake hair, all for the low low price of way-too-much-dinero.
